  This was one of my favorite neighborhood spots when I lived in Marina Del Rey... always a good crowd / mix of people, stiff drinks, good food.

  I hit the Blue Plate Oysterette with regularity while I am in town. Lots of great items to share (or enjoy for yourself), and a nice oyster selection. The place is small and they don't take reservations, so get there early and ask for outdoor seating so that you can watch the sunset.
