Looking to find a band to play the O.K. Go This Too Shall Pass

I am working on recreating elements of the epic O.K. Go video, This Too Shall Pass. I thought...

I've been working to work my way towards being a Rube Goldberg Machine Developer, albeit through others and in a very indirect, squiggly way. I am, after all, Squigglemom.

Several months ago I thought I would like to duplicate the This Too Shall Pass video of the O.K. Go band. I had a tiny success with a student group up in La Canada, at Trellis Learning. What do you think?

This Too Shall Pass Video

At some point, when we have enough of the machine going, I think we will need a tribute band. Yes, I know it will take some time, but still... perhaps they will need lots of time for practice.

So, if you know someone who loves Rube Goldberg, plays music and specifically, loves that video, please let them know that I am looking.

Also, I am trying to find the following. We're technically not supposed to buy stuff for Rube Goldberg machines, so if you are able to help, contact me! More lists will come.

-Plastic Chinese Soup Spoons

-A large old-fashioned speaker

-Heavy cars (not plastic)

-1" metal balls

- 2 troughs of different sizes.
