Rube Goldberg themed Projects at the LA Makerfaire/City of STEM
Join Makersville and Makersville Services at the LA Makerfaire and City of STEM as we share our projects that support creative learning
Our presentation at the Los Angeles Maker Faire and the City of STEM event on April 6th 2024 is sponsored in part by the Port of Long Beach. Many thanks to our sponsors for supporting our learning events!
We've got a super fun presentation for you, so please join us!
We'll be making buttons and backpack bunnies and bigger bunnies as prizes. You'll be learning to sew and to make buttons with us. If you make a whole bunny (no logo) you can keep it! If you make bunny parts and buttons or simple machines you get to win them by doing Rube Goldberg themed activities at our Handmade Carnival!

Do you do Other Events? Can I Help? Learn?
YES! We work with companies, event managers, schools and private parties to develop customized experiences and to support their Rube Goldberg skills learning. No funding? We coach you in grantwriting to help you to bring our events to you and you to our competition.
To bring our customized event to you, or to volunteer for, participate in or sponsor our Practical Microfactory project, please contact Squigglemom, Trish Tsoiasue at Patricia@makersvilleservices.org or at 562-225-9589.
The Rube Goldberg competition season starts in August and ends in April.
To view the 2024 final (also on April 6th), join national competition host Zach Umperovitch on his YouTube channel, Zach's Contraptions.
