El Rodeo Elementary School Construction Will Be Complete June 2024
Construction on El Rodeo Elementary School is $1.3 million under budget and on target to be complete by June 2024.

BEVERLY HILLS, CA — Construction on El Rodeo Elementary School will be complete by June 2024 and is over $1 million under budget, the district's construction consulting firm said at a recent board of education meeting.
Representatives of Fonder-Salari, the construction consulting firm working on the project, updated the Beverly Hills Unified School District board on Jan. 31 on a number of construction projects, including El Rodeo.
El Rodeo has five buildings under construction, multiple of which are almost complete, according to the Fonder-Salari representatives. Utilities are partially set up on the campus, with some work outstanding on water lines and gas equipment.

The project is on target to be complete by June 30, 2024 and is currently around $1.3 million under its $166 million budget, according to a staff report.
Construction on El Rodeo started in 2019, according to the Jan. 31 presentation.

Representatives also provided updates on a number of other construction projects in the district, including work on Beverly Hills High School, which is expected to be complete by 2026, and work on Beverly Vista Middle School carried over from a previous project and construction on a wellness center.
Fonder-Salari took over the district's construction projects in June 2022 after a short construction halt, according to the Beverly Press.
