RivCo Choirs Perform Holiday Favorites 8,516 Feet Above Sea Level
Ride the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway on Wednesday, Thursday, or Sunday evenings to experience the holiday shows far above Riverside County.

PALM DESERT, CA — Choir singers from six Riverside County high schools were set to perform at the Pines Cafe Stage, reachable only by Palm Springs Aerial Tramway, 8,500 feet above sea level. These performances are a feast for the senses, where visitors can dine at the Pine Cafe while enjoying the holiday show.
On Thursday, see the La Quinta High School Chamber Singers at 5 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. in shows included with your tramway ticket.
The Martin Luther King High School Choir kicked off the seasonal series Wednesday. According to the tramway's website, the high school choir holiday shows will continue on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays for the next two weeks at the Pines Café Stage.

The Tramway presented the following line-up for the 2024 season:
- Wednesday, December 4 – Martin Luther King High School Choir
- Thursday, December 5 – La Quinta High School Chamber Singers
- Sunday, December 8 – Palm Springs High School Choir and String Quartette
- Wednesday, December 11 – Cathedral City High School Choirs
- Thursday, December 12 – Coachella Valley High School Concert Choir
- Sunday, December 15 – Encore High School for the Arts Madrigals
Showtimes are at 5 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. and are included with regular Tram admission, according to the website.

Performances are on the Pines Café Stage, and food and beverages are available for purchase from either Pines Café or the Lookout Lounge.
They said the December 8 performance will be outside on the Desert View Terrace at 5:30 p.m. as part of the tree-lighting ceremony. There will also be a 7:30 p.m. performance inside.
