Grand Junction French Teacher Makes Lasting Impact On Her Students

French.

Why do you believe the teacher should be recognized or honored?

She's been a teacher for decades and is all in! She wears wigs and tutus in the school colors on spirit day, that sort of thing. Jodee is very warm and friendly and has a really big heart and genuine respect for all of the students at Grand Junction High School. She puts a lot of her own time and effort into running a free boutique for students in need — from clothing to school supplies to toiletries. She's the kind of teacher kids come back to years later to thank for the impact she had on their teen years.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the teacher?

She is all in as a teacher and a supporter of every teenager who seeks her out.
