Danbury Fair Mall Adds New Retailer
This will be the company's second location in Connecticut and 101st nationally.

DANBURY, CT — A new ear piercing studio that performs all piercings by licensed nurses is opening at Danbury Fair.
Rowan, a mom-founded brand focused on safe ear piercing experience, announced it will open a new studio at the mall next week.
The company says all piercings are performed by licensed nurses using hypoallergenic earrings and following strict hygiene standards.

“Our Danbury Fair studio will be our second location in Connecticut — alongside Westport — and our 101st studio nationwide,” Rowan Founder and CEO Louisa Schneider said. “We currently operate in 33 states and are continuing our expansion this year, with plans to enter at least three additional states by year-end.”
The Danbury Fair location will offer ear piercings and a selection of hypoallergenic jewelry.

“Danbury Fair is a vibrant community hub, and it felt like a natural fit for Rowan,” she said. “Residents can expect a calm, welcoming studio and a truly celebratory approach to ear piercing.”
Schneider added that the Connecticut opening has personal significance.
“I’m thrilled we’re opening our second Connecticut studio,” she said. “I went to high school in Connecticut, so openings here always feel like an important milestone to me.”
