Ellington Farmers Market Kicks Off Winter Season
The Market features locally grown and crafted produce, meats, dairy, seafood, baked goods, specialty foods and artisan wares from 45 vendors
The Ellington Farmers Market is excited to launch its Winter season on Saturday, November 23rd, from 9 a.m. to noon, at Ellington High School. This vibrant market brings together over 35 local vendors, offering a wide array of farm-fresh products, specialty foods and artisan wares to help you prepare for the holiday and winter season.
Shoppers can expect a variety of locally grown and raised products, including fresh produce, beef, pork, chicken, dairy, and fruit. The market also features seafood, baked goods (including gluten-free options), ready-made meals, jams, jellies, relishes, salsas, bath and body items, and artisan crafts, ensuring something for everyone. Families are encouraged to bring their children, who can enjoy free face painting provided by Ellington High School art students.
Continuing its commitment to community support, the market will match SNAP benefits up to $50 weekly, ensuring that more families have access to fresh, nutritious food during the holiday season.
The Ellington Farmers Market, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is dedicated to its mission of “Building a Healthy Community.” To stay informed about weekly vendor schedules and offerings, visit ellingtonfarmersmarket.org and sign up for the market newsletter.
