ENFIELD, CT — A porch fire at a home on Asnuntuck Street Monday evening was quickly extinguished by firefighters, according to town officials. Emergency crews were dispatched around 7 p.m. to 17 Asnuntuck St. after smoke and flames were reported coming from a porch at the residence. Police said the fire was quickly put out by responding firefighters. No injuries were reported, and no residents were displaced, authorities said. Police and fire units were expected to clear the scene shortly after the incident.
