25 Restaurants In 2022 'Fairfield Restaurant Week' Oct. 24-Nov. 6

The popular annual event runs for two weeks.

FAIRFIELD, CT — Twenty-five restaurants are set to participate in the 11th annual Fairfield Restaurant Week, which began Monday and runs through Nov. 6, announced First Selectwoman Brenda Kupchick.

Restaurants participating in this year's event are offering special prix fixe or other discounted lunch and dinner menus showcasing their finest culinary offerings.

"Fairfield is excited to sponsor this town-wide event, celebrating our many great restaurants," Kupchick said in a statement. "Restaurant Week gives the public the opportunity to visit longtime
favorites or try someplace new. With the variety of cuisine on offer with this event, it's easy to see why Fairfield continues to be a top dining destination."

Mark Barnhart, Fairfield's Director of Community & Economic Development, added that many businesses continue to face difficulties due to the lingering pandemic and tight economy.

"It's been a trying time for many small businesses," Barnhart said. "Between staffing shortages, increased costs and supply chain issues, restaurateurs face a host of challenges. We hope that residents and visitors alike will be able to enjoy and support the many restaurants that Fairfield
has to offer."
