GREENWICH, CT — The First Congregational Church of Greenwich will host its annual "Trunk or Treat" Halloween celebration on Saturday, Oct. 25, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the church parking lot at 108 Sound Beach Ave. in Old Greenwich.

The community-wide event invites families to enjoy trick-or-treating in a safe, enclosed, and family-friendly setting. Children are encouraged to come in costume and collect candy from festively decorated car trunks. The parking lot will be closed to traffic during the event.

Food trucks from Pizza Post, El Chilito and Eishumaru will also be on-site.

"We are very excited for Trunk or Treat," said Rev. Patrick Collins, senior pastor at First Church, in a news release. "Since 2019, we’ve presented this gathering, and we look forward to seeing all the creative trunks and costumes. Last year, we had a special treat with a DeLorean car from ‘Back to the Future.’ This year promises to have another surprise to enhance the Halloween experience!"

The event is open to the public and has become a seasonal tradition for local families since its launch several years ago.
