Drug Take Back Day To Be Held In Greenwich: Details

GREENWICH, CT — Residents will have the opportunity to safely dispose of unused or expired medications during a National Drug Take Back Day event on Saturday, Oct. 25, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Town of Greenwich Public Safety Complex, 11 Bruce Place.

The event offers community members a chance to turn in prescription drugs for proper disposal — no questions asked.

National Drug Take Back Day is a nationwide initiative coordinated by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration aimed at preventing prescription drug misuse and protecting the environment by keeping unwanted medications out of the water supply and landfills.

According to the DEA, over 620,000 pounds of unused, unwanted and expired medication was collected nationwide during the most recent event in April.
