Does anyone in your family work in politics or government?
No

Previous public office, appointive or elective:
I have never held or run for public office before.

Why are you seeking this office?
I’m running for Town Clerk because I believe every role in local government has the potential to deliver real value when it’s run with purpose. The Clerk’s office is the keeper of our public records, our civic memory, and the systems that help residents participate in local government. When it’s passive, people are left in the dark. When it’s proactive, it becomes a powerful tool for transparency, access, and trust.

The single most pressing issue facing my constituents is ____, and this is what I intend to do about it:
The single most pressing issue that the Town Clerk's office can address is how much time and energy it takes to deal with government. Whether it’s getting a license, understanding a process, or following what your elected officials are doing, people are tired of unnecessary delays and red tape. I want to make the Town Clerk’s office a place that respects your time with faster service, clearer information, and a more straightforward experience.

What are the major differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?
My background is in technology, and I’ve spent my career building tools that make complicated systems easier to understand and use. I also bring an outsider’s perspective. I created 203.vote to help residents see how their RTM members vote, because I knew what it was like to be confused by the RTM. That experience drives me to make local government more transparent and accessible, especially for people who haven’t always felt like they had a seat at the table.

What other issues do you intend to address during your campaign?
I’ve also been focused on how state and federal mandates affect local operations. The Town Clerk’s office is often responsible for implementing new rules from Hartford or DC, often with little notice and no additional funding. I’ve been closely following legislation that impacts transparency, elections, and public records, and I believe local governments should have a stronger voice in how these policies are shaped. I want to make sure Greenwich is prepared, efficient, and advocating for smarter implementations that work for our community.

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?
This job is increasingly about managing digital systems and improving how people access information. I have a BA in Computer Science and have a decade of experience as a Software Engineer in educational tech and financial tech. That experience of debugging complex processes, getting the details right, and building systems people rely on is exactly what this role demands.

What is the best advice anyone ever gave you?
Look for the helpers. You will always find people who are helping.

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about yourself and your positions?
I’m a proud member of Greenwich's Community Emergency Response Team (CERT), and if you’re even a little curious, I’d encourage you to check it out too!
