GREENWICH, CT — Here are the recent death notices from Greenwich.
Francis “Frank” John Neeson, 65, died Oct. 15, 2025; a respected cardiologist with more than 35 years of practice, he was also an avid photographer, softball player, grill master, and devoted family man who found joy in medicine, travel, and time outdoors.
Irene A. Savage, 86, died Oct. 7, 2025; a lifelong educator who taught business and English at Greenwich High School, St. Mary High School, Berkeley College, Katherine Gibbs School, and Westchester Community College, she was honored with the University of Connecticut Alumni Association’s “Excellence in Teaching” award and was active in community service through the Junior League, Greenwich Scholarship Association, PTA, The Rummage Room, and the First Congregational Church of Greenwich.

Janice Campbell Gunnip, 77, died Sept. 26, 2025; a longtime organist at Sacred Heart Church and former Director of Education Technology for Greenwich Public Schools, she also worked in medical laboratories, volunteered for local charities, and enjoyed travel, golf, and softball.
Sandra “Sandy” Plickert, 89, died Sept. 24, 2025; an educator and program director, she taught and coordinated the Greenwich Family Center Child Care Program, directed the First Congregational Church Preschool, and later led programs at the Greenwich Senior Center, while also serving as a Bruce Museum docent, and avid traveler who loved Paris, Nantucket, music, and the arts.

Loren Gwynne Weaver, 71, died Sept. 23, 2025; a former accountant, she enjoyed beach trips, cross-stitching, bargain-hunting, Jewish deli food, and caring for her pets.
Frances Versace Judice, 88, died Sept. 20, 2025; owner of Color Tech TV & Appliance in Cos Cob, she was active with St. Catherine of Siena Church, the St. Lawrence Society, and Call-A-Ride, and enjoyed bowling, gardening, and puzzles.
Janet B. Staplefield, 94, died Sept. 19, 2025; she worked for the Town of Greenwich Public Health Nursing Department and enjoyed summers at Byram Beach with friend.
John P. “Johnny Ped” Pedwano Jr., 75, died Sept. 17, 2025; a retired O&G Industries employee and 45-year member of the International Union of Operating Engineers, he was an avid mechanic, drag racer, and motorcyclist who also enjoyed gardening, time by the water, and family gatherings.
