New Canaan To Hold Halloween Trunk-Or-Treat, Touch-A-Truck Event
Participants are invited to explore the vehicles, then fill their bag with candy as they trunk-or-treat their way through the event.

NEW CANAAN, CT — The town will hold a trunk-or-treat and touch-a-truck event this weekend in the New Canaan High School parking lot, according to town officials.
The event will take place Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., during which residents can also bring expired and unused medication for safe destruction, according to the town's Facebook page.
In a separate Facebook post, police noted the event is free and open to kids of all ages, and costumes are highly encouraged.

Participants are invited to "climb on, touch and explore awesome trucks, police cars, fire engines, ambulances and more," then fill their bags with candy as they trunk-or-treat their way through the event.
Live demonstrations will also take place during the event, according to police.
