Easton Residents Encouraged To Nominate Young Healthcare Professionals For Regional Awards
Nominations are now open through June 16 for the Greater Bridgeport Medical Association's 2026 Future of Healthcare Awards honoring outstand
The Greater Bridgeport Medical Association (GBMA) is seeking nominations from Easton residents for its 2026 Future of Healthcare Awards, which recognize exceptional healthcare professionals under the age of 40 who are making a difference in the lives of patients and families throughout the Greater Bridgeport region.
Community members are encouraged to nominate physicians, nurses, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, therapists, pharmacists, emergency medical personnel, social workers, and other healthcare workers who demonstrate outstanding compassion, leadership, innovation, and dedication to patient care.
The awards will honor healthcare professionals who live or work in the Greater Bridgeport region and are helping shape the future of healthcare through their commitment to serving others.

"Healthcare professionals work on the frontline and behind the scenes, dedicating themselves to caring for others during some of life's most challenging moments," said John Brannelly, Executive Director of the Greater Bridgeport Medical Association. "These awards provide an opportunity for patients, colleagues, employers, friends, and family members to recognize young healthcare professionals whose compassion, leadership, and commitment are helping shape the future of healthcare in our region."
Nominations are open to healthcare professionals under the age of 40 who live or work in the Greater Bridgeport area. Individuals may nominate a colleague, employee, healthcare provider, friend, or family member whose work deserves recognition.

The deadline for nominations is June 16, 2026.
Award recipients will be recognized during the GBMA Future of Healthcare Awards ceremony on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at Fairchild Wheeler Golf Course in Fairfield.
