<a href="https://www.halfacreconstruction.com/" rel="noopener nofollow" target="_blank">Halfacre Construction Company</a>, a Lakewood Ranch-based commercial construction company, is working to support education and empowerment in the community through two event sponsorships taking place in April, with donations totaling more than $5,000.
The first event sponsorship is the <a href="https://www.duckrace.com/manatee" rel="noopener nofollow" target="_blank">17</a><a href="https://www.duckrace.com/manatee" rel="noopener nofollow" target="_blank">th</a><a href="https://www.duckrace.com/manatee" rel="noopener nofollow" target="_blank"> annual Lucky Duck Race for Pace</a>, a rubber duck derby with more than 30,000 ducks racing down Manatee River, on Saturday, April 11. Halfacre is a $2,500 Golden Duck sponsor of the event, with proceeds benefiting the <a href="https://www.pacecenter.org/" rel="noopener nofollow" target="_blank">Pace Center for Girls Manatee</a>, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that provides a safe and supportive environment for girls to build healthy relationships, plan for their future and overcome histories of trauma.
The second event is the <a href="https://runsignup.com/Race/FL/Sarasota/RinglingBridge10k" rel="noopener nofollow" target="_blank">Education Foundation&rsquo;s Ringling Bridge Run</a> on Sunday, April 26. Now in its third year, the annual run is a community tradition across the Ringling Bridge. Participants can choose from either the 5K, 10K or family fun run, and proceeds benefit the <a href="https://edfoundationsrq.org/" rel="noopener nofollow" target="_blank">Education Foundation of Sarasota County</a>, a nonprofit that supports public school teachers and students in Sarasota County with programs that prepare students to get ready and go further.
Halfacre will be serving as a $3,000 sponsor of the event, and currently has seven team members registered to participate in the run.

<a href="https://coastalorthopedics.com/providers/andres-e-odaly-m-d/" rel="noopener nofollow" target="_blank">Dr. Andres O&rsquo;Daly</a>, board-certified and fellowship trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in foot and ankle injuries and disorders at <a href="https://www.coastalorthopedics.com/" rel="noopener nofollow" target="_blank">Coastal Orthopedics</a>, was recently named medical director of orthopedics at HCA Florida Blake Hospital.
Dr. O&rsquo;Daly has been with Coastal Orthopedics since 2016. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the Central University of Venezuela and practiced focusing on sports medicine and joint reconstruction at Centro Medico de Caracas, one of the most prestigious clinics in Venezuela. 
He immigrated to the United States in 2008, where he successfully completed a postdoctoral research fellowship and a second orthopedic surgery residency at Johns Hopkins University. Dr. O&rsquo;Daly then completed a foot and ankle surgery fellowship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
With his additional role at HCA Florida Blake Hospital, he will be tasked with providing physician leadership for the hospital&rsquo;s orthopedic program, supporting clinical excellence, quality outcomes and continued program growth. He succeeds Dr. David Cashen, also from Coastal Orthopedics, who served in the role from 2022 to 2025.

My daughter Areyanna Bosworth (16) has been missing since February28th 2026. She ran cut off ankle monitor (for gps and safety purposes) and ran away. I was in my way home from work. Nothing happened that day other than an altercation with her little brother about her trying to take his new electric scooter he got for his birthday. She had just dyed her hair a dark red 2 days prior. She was seen in palmetto Fl at the racetrac gas station by Lincoln park with some questionable people- a tall black girl that goes by leelee whine was clearly under the influence of drugs and an older man. Last creditable sighting was on the 99 bus march 10th. She got on the bus at downtown Bradenton station and off at desoto station. Source said she was with three black men and got off the bus with one. They said she was very loud and said she had no where to go! She has a home! I&rsquo;ve had no updates since. It&rsquo;s been 16 days&#128542; please help us find her! She also has a pickup warrant for cutting off the ankle monitor. Any fighting please contact manatee county sheriff right away! At least when they take her I will know where she is and that she is safe!
