Drunken Driver Resists Cops During Arrest: Arlington Heights PD Blotter

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — The following information comes from the Arlington Heights Police Department and court records as a record of police activity, including incidents reported by the public and those arrested by police. Criminal charges represent accusations by the state and are often dropped or reduced. Updated information may be available from the Cook County Clerk of the Circuit Court.

  • Susan Renee Aguado, 55, of the 1900 block of Southern Circle, Pingree Grove, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, DUI alcohol with a blood alcohol concentration level of .08 or more, and was arrested at 11:50 p.m. Oct. 18, at Arlington Heights and Algonquin roads. She was released and assigned a court date of Nov. 5.
  • Michael B. Giglia, 18, of the 10000 block of Holly Lane, Des Plaines, is accused of DUI alcohol, DUI alcohol with a BAC of .08 or more, illegal transportation of alcohol, unlawful possession of cannabis, and was arrested at 3:45 a.m. Oct. 17, at Rand Road and Beverly Lane, Arlington Heights. He was released and assigned a court date of Nov. 25.
  • Eduardo Martinez, 27, of the 200 block of Brougham Drive, Wheeling, is accused of aggravated DUI, having a suspended license, DUI alcohol, driving on a revoked license, resisting a peace officer, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and was arrested at 2:13 a.m. Oct. 22, in the 600 block of W. Kingsbury Drive. He was released and assigned a court date of Oct. 27.

RESISTING A PEACE OFFICER

Elizabeth Martinez, 24, of the 400 block of Inland Drive, Wheeling, is accused of resisting a peace officer, unlawful possession of cannabis, and was arrested at 2:13 a.m. Oct. 22, in the 600 block of W. Kingsbury. She was released and assigned a court date of Nov. 5.

VIOLATION OF BAIL BOND

  • Eric C. Oberfranc, 31, of the 500 block of E. Seegers Road, Arlington Heights, had warrants for violation of bail bond, a probation violation, and was arrested at 5:25 p.m. Oct. 23, in the 500 block of E. Seegers Road.
  • Kelvin M. Twine, 28, homeless, had a warrant for violation of bail bond, and was arrested at 8:35 p.m. Oct. 19, in the 100 block of W. Campbell.

BURGLARY

Emmanuel Ramirez, 38, of the 2200 block of Oakdale Circle, Hanover Park, is accused of three counts of burglary, and was arrested at 11:13 p.m. Oct. 20, in the 500 block of E. Ogden Avenue, Naperville. He was released and assigned a court date of Nov. 18.

INCIDENTS

CRIMINAL DAMAGE TO PROPERTY

A resident in the 800 block of W. Thomas Street reported that between noon and 2:30 p.m. Oct. 16, someone had used pink spray to write on the garage door.

RETAIL THEFT

An employee at Ulta, 13 W. Rand Road, reported at 3:49 p.m. Oct. 18, a man had stolen approximately $315 worth of fragrance. The suspect is described as 5-foot-10, 180 pounds, between 40 and 50 years old, wearing a black hat, green jacket, white shirt, blue jeans and black shoes, and was wearing a black fanny pack.

THEFT

A citizen reported that between 5 p.m. and 10 p.m. Oct. 16, someone had stolen his black Trek bicycle at Patriots Park, 1815 N. Dale Ave.
