APD Training Planned At Aurora Christian Schools

AURORA, IL — Aurora residents and passersby shouldn't be alarmed if they see an increase in police presence at Aurora Christian Schools Wednesday.

The Aurora Police Department is conducting training at the school, on Sullivan Road near North Orchard Road, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., officials said in a Facebook alert.

"This is only training and there is no cause for alarm," police said. "We appreciate the public's cooperation in giving our officers and the school space to safely conduct this exercise."
