Bricks Falling Off Building Leads To Evacuation: Police
Residents living at 102 and 104 E. Galena Boulevard in Aurora have been ordered to evacuate the building, police said.

AURORA, IL — Residents have been ordered to evacuate a building in Aurora Saturday night.
The evacuations were ordered at 102 and 104 E. Galena Boulevard after the Aurora Police Department received several calls regarding bricks falling from the structure and into the sidewalks and roadways, according to authorities. Officials will be assessing the structural safety of the building before deciding next steps, according to a news release from the Aurora Police Department.
Officials also shut down East Galena Boulevard between Broadways and Lincoln avenues, according to the news release.

The American Red Cross and Victim Services have been contacted to help residents who have been displaced from their homes.
