Driver Who Witnessed Serious Crash Being Sought: Aurora Police
A 22-year-old motorcyclist remains in critical condition after he crashed into an SUV Tuesday morning, Aurora police said.

AURORA, IL — Aurora police are seeking the community's help identifying a driver who may have witnessed a motorcycle-versus-SUV crash Tuesday morning.
The crash occurred at about 10 a.m. at 75th Street and Commons Drive. The preliminary investigation indicates the motorcycle was traveling eastbound on 75th Street when it struck the side of a SUV that was turning from westbound 75th Street onto southbound Commons Drive, officials said.
The motorcycle driver, a 22-year-old man, was flown by helicopter to Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove with life-threatening injuries. As of Thursday morning, he remains in critical condition, police said.

The driver of the SUV remained on the scene after the crash and is cooperating with the investigation, officials said.
Investigators are hoping to identify the driver of a dark red or burgundy vehicle that was in the area around the time of the crash.

"Detectives believe the driver may have witnessed the collision and could provide important information to assist in the investigation," police said in a news release.
