HOMEWOOD, IL — Members of the public are invited to attend a screening of a documentary tackling a specific anxiety disorder impacting children.
Directed by Eve Keepings de Jesus, the film "Selective Mutism: Getting the Word Out" explores the experiences of children living with selective mutism, a complex anxiety disorder that affects speech in social settings.
The showing will be only the third public screening of the documentary. It will be followed by a Q&A with the director.
