2 Found Dead In Palatine Apartment: Police

PALATINE, IL — An 84-year-old woman and a 57-year-old man were found dead Friday night at an apartment in the 1000 block of North Sterling Avenue. Palatine police said an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident is ongoing.

The Cook County Medical Examiner's Office has identified the two as Karen Zincke and David Zincke.

Police were called to the apartment at around 9:26 p.m. for an ambulance assist, when they discovered the two were deceased.

Police said at this time, there is no known threat to public safety.
