A woman was shot after a cigarette dispute in Anne Arundel County, police said. Officers are looking for the suspect.

GLEN BURNIE, MD — A woman was shot this weekend after a cigarette dispute in Glen Burnie, police said, noting that they expect her to survive.
Officers said they were called Saturday at 4:05 p.m. for a report of a shooting in the 7800 block of Americana Circle. That's located in the area of the Americana Southdale Apartments.
Authorities said they found a 25-year-old woman with a graze wound to her upper body.

Police said the victim tried to buy cigarettes from the suspect but didn't have enough money, sparking an argument.
Officers said the suspect got a handgun from his apartment and fired multiple shots toward the victim, hitting her once.

The victim declined medical treatment on the scene, authorities said.
The Anne Arundel County Police Department said it searched the area but couldn't find the suspect who fled.
