MASSACHUSETTS — From a health insurance company eliminating hundreds of jobs to a popular bakery eyeing expanding its presence in the Bay State, it's been a busy week in Massachusetts business news.

Health Insurance Company Eliminates Jobs

Point32Health is eliminating 254 jobs as part of its second significant workforce reduction of the year, according to a report from Boston Business Journal. The jobs account for approximately six-and-a-half percent of the company's workforce.

Popular Bakery Eyeing Expansion in MA

Paris Baguette, a French-inspired bakery chain, is searching for a storefront in Worcester. The company currently has five locations in Massachusetts.

Paris Baguette's Chief Development Officer, Nick Scaccio, told Patch that the chain has 12 units in development in the Greater Boston area, including locations in Mansfield and Bellingham.

$50K Winning Lottery Ticket Will Soon Expire

A winning Powerball ticket that was sold at a convenience store in Marlborough last November has not yet been claimed. The unclaimed ticket is worth $50,000.

The Massachusetts State Lottery Commission said the ticket will expire on Nov. 20 if not claimed.
