Mall Staple Closing MarketStreet Lynnfield Location, 12 More Nationwide

LYNNFIELD, MA — The Claire's at MarketStreet Lynnfield is closing.

The Lynnfield location is one of 13 nationwide identified for closure following parent company Claire's Holdings initiating bankruptcy proceedings Wednesday.

In addition to Claire's, a jewelry and accessory store catering to teens and tweens, Claire's Holdings also operates Icing, which targets older teens and women.

The company identified five Icing stores for closure.

Claire's Holdings operates more than 2,750 Claire's stores in North America and Europe and 190 Icing stores in North America, according to the company's website.

"We also sell Claire’s products in thousands of concessions locations in North America and Europe, and we have more than 300 franchised Claire’s stores, located primarily in the Middle East and South Africa," the site said.
