Westborough Man Found Guilty In Mother's Murder
Daniel Uhlman was accused of killing his 82-year-old mother, Nancy Uhlman, in 2023.
WESTBOROUGH, MA — A Westborough man was convicted on Tuesday in the 2023 murder of his mother, according to Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan and Marlborough Chief of Police David Giorgi.
After an 11-day trial, a jury found Daniel Uhlman, 55, guilty of first-degree murder and armed assault on a person over 60 years old. Uhlman was accused of killing his 82-year-old mother, Nancy, on June 1, 2023.
Prosecutors said that Uhlman walked into the lobby of a hotel on Lakeside Avenue, the Holiday Inn in Marlborough, and told the staff to call the police because he had just killed his mother, according to the DA.

The DA said police found Nancy Uhlman in the parking lot with significant trauma, and she was pronounced dead at the scene.
An investigation revealed that he had planned to meet his mother at the hotel and kill her. He pulled her from her truck, beat her, tried to stab her and struck her with the vehicle.

The determined cause of death was blunt force injuries from being struck by a vehicle, according to the DA.
Daniel Uhlman will be sentenced on December 22.
