Halloween House Promises ‘One-Of-A-Kind Halloween Experience’ In Freehold

FREEHOLD, NJ — A new attraction has come to Freehold Raceway Mall just in time for the Halloween season, promising a “one-of-a-kind Halloween experience” for attendees.

Brand new for 2025, Halloween House Freehold has been refreshed from top to bottom, officials said, blending never-before-seen rooms with redesigned favorites and focusing on fun rather than fear for participants.

"Halloween House Freehold is all about celebrating the magic of Halloween in a way that everyone can enjoy," said Peter Coyle, Franchisee of Halloween House Freehold.

"We've taken everything people loved last year and pushed it even further, so guests will find new surprises around every corner without the gore or scares," Coyle continued. "It's about creating memories."

At Halloween House Freehold, guests will explore a series of immersive rooms, featuring new themes and experiences, including the Halloween House Carnival room (with unlimited carnival games and prizes), the ToFright Show Talk Show, and the Shriek Easy Speakeasy (with pool, trivia and more).

Fan-favorite experiences have returned as well, including The Famous Glow Room (seen on Thursday Night Football’s Halloween game last season), the “Trick or Treat” room, the Beetlejuice Illusion Room, the Zombie Bunker, the Graveyard Movie Theater, the Horror Hotel room and more.

At Halloween House Freehold, officials said group rates are offered and prices have not increased from last year.

Hours of operation are:

• Monday-Thursday (5-8 p.m.)
• Friday (5-9 p.m.)
• Saturday (11 a.m. to 9 p.m.)
• Sunday (11 a.m. to 7 p.m.)
