MONMOUTH COUNTY, NJ — As the weekend arrives and September starts to come to a close, there are plenty of events happening around Monmouth County to check out this weekend.

Whether you’re looking to pick your own flowers, shop at a local market, or try various samples of mac & cheese during a local town's Mac & Cheese Festival, there are plenty of events and activities to enjoy.

LuminoCity Dino Safari

  • Dates: Through Oct. 25
  • Location: Freehold Raceway Mall
  • Details: Join Freehold Raceway Mall for an immersive Dino Safari Festival, where attendees can step into a world of lifelike dinosaurs moving, roaring and towering as high as 46 feet. Tickets required.

Mac & Cheese Festival

  • Date: Saturday, Sept. 27
  • Location: Throughout Red Bank
  • Details: Take a tour around Red Bank to try all kinds of mac & cheese creations from some of the best spots in town. Festival tickets include a sample of mac & cheese from every participating location (samples available from 1-5 p.m.)

Disco Night

  • Date: Saturday, Sept. 27
  • Location: Bar Bella at Bell Works
  • Details: Enjoy a night of disco music and drinks at Bar Bella from 6-9 p.m. with DJ Foggy Notion. The bar opens at 4 p.m.

U-Pick Sunflowers: Fall Festival

  • Dates: Open through Oct. 13
  • Location: Holland Ridge Farms
  • Details: Pick your own flowers at Holland Ridge Farms while enjoying a pumpkin patch, floral photo props, food trucks and more. Tickets required.

Asbury Park Fall Bazaar

  • Dates: Sept. 27 & Sept. 28
  • Location: Grand Arcade of Convention Hall
  • Details: Celebrate local makers, music, art and more at the 2025 Asbury Park Fall Bazaar from 12-5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. The event is indoor, free for all ages and pet friendly.

Harvest Home Festival

  • Date: Sunday, Sept. 28
  • Location: Historic Longstreet Farm
  • Details: Enjoy a day of “old-fashioned fun” at the Harvest Home Festival in Holmdel. Attendees will be able to enjoy wagon rides, live entertainment, craft demonstrations and more.
