Man Hit By Car, Killed In Passaic County

The collision occurred near two major North Jersey roadways, police said.

PASSAIC COUNTY, NJ — A Paterson man was killed this week after being struck by a car in Passaic County, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office.

On Tuesday, around 6 a.m., police responded to reports of a car accident near Route 19 and Route 80 in Paterson.

Paterson police found that Damon McNeill, a 40-year-old local man, had been hit by a car and killed, authorities said.

The driver was not identified by police, and it is not clear if they remained at the scene of the crash.

The incident is under investigation, and authorities ask that anyone with additional information call the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office at 1-877-370-PCPO.
