Wrong-Way Driver Killed In North Jersey Collision, Police Say
The driver was traveling into oncoming traffic before the crash, police said.

BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — A Passaic County man was killed this weekend after driving on the wrong side of a major NJ highway, resulting in a head-on crash.
On Sunday morning, around 5:30 a.m., police responded to a call of a car crash on I-80 West in Elmwood Park, Bergen County.
An investigation revealed that a Kia had been traveling east on I-80 West, into oncoming traffic. The Kia slammed head-on into a Subaru, spiraled out of control, and crashed into a Mazda, police said.

The driver of the Kia, 29-year-old Steven P. Barrera-Fiallos, from Prospect Park, was killed as a result of the crash.
The drivers of the Subaru and Mazda were taken to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries, according to officials.

The crash remains under investigation, and no additional information is available at this time, police said.
