Woodbridge Plans To Make Cliff Road Dog Park Bigger, Add More Parking
The Township plans to construct a new and larger dog park behind the existing one on Cliff Road in Sewaren.
WOODBRIDGE, NJ — In his State of the Township address given last Thursday, Woodbridge Mayor John McCormac said the Township plans to construct a new and larger dog park behind the existing one, located on Cliff Road in Sewaren.
He said the Township hopes to do this sometime in 2025.
Also sometime this year, the Township plans to build additional parking at the current dog park on Cliff Road.

Also, Middlesex County said it will pay to build a pedestrian walking bridge that will connect the area around Woodbridge's new tiki bar on Smith’s Creek to Alvin P. Williams county park. That bridge is also supposed to be built sometime in 2025.
And in more park news, the Woodbridge Wetlands Park is scheduled to open sometime in 2025, we reported Thursday. This is a 185-acre former polluted brownfield site in the Keasbey section, on the Raritan River. The town of Woodbridge and state of NJ have been working to turn it into a public park, with walking trails and elevated boardwalks added above the marsh.
