Police Advise Motorists Of Road Closures For The Miller Place-Rocky Point St. Patrick's Day Parade
The parade kicks off at 1 p.m.
SHIRLEY, NY — The Suffolk County Police Department's 7th Precinct is advising motorists to take alternate routes in the Miller Place-Rocky Point area, as community members host their annual St. Patrick's Day Parade.
In a post to social media, the precinct advised motorists to plan ahead for detours, delays, and limited parking.
"If you’re heading to the parade, get there early and enjoy the fun," the post read. "Let’s celebrate safely and keep our community moving smoothly."

Route 25A will be closed from Miller Place Road to Harding Street from noon to 4 p.m. There will be no parking on Rte 25A from Rocky Point Landing to Tyler. There will also be no parking on Broadway, north of Main Street to King Road.
The parade will kick off at 1 p.m.
