70s Teen Idol Shaun Cassidy To Make Concert Tour Stop On Long Island
He's known for TV shows like "The Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew Mysteries," and hits like "Da Doo Run Run" and "That's Rock and Roll."

LONG ISLAND, NY — Former 70s teen idol, Shaun Cassidy, will make a stop along his "The Road to Us" tour at the Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts on March 12.
Cassidy, the son of Shirley Jones and Jack Cassidy, burst onto the music scene in 1977 with his debut self-titled album featuring hits like, "Da Doo Run Run," "That's Rock and Roll," "Hey Deanie," and "Do You Believe in Magic?" He is best-known for his part as Joe Hardy in the television show, "The Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew Mysteries."
He later appeared on Broadway in the hit musical, "Blood Brothers," and wrote his first television pilot, "American Gothic." He went on to produce a number of television series, including "Roar," starring Heath Ledger and Vera Farmiga, as well as "Cold Case," "Cover Me," "The Agency," "Invasion," and "Emerald City."

Most recently, he spent five years as executive producer and writer for the hit NBC/Netflix series "New Amsterdam."
Cassidy is working under an exclusive long-term development deal with NBC/Universal Television.

He lives in the wine country of Santa Barbara with his wife, Tracey, their four children, and a gaggle of animals.
