Man Threatens Use of Weapon, Demands Cash At Bakery In Farmingville: Police
He bolted from the scene in a vehicle after the incident on Sunday morning, Suffolk police say.

FARMINGVILLE, NY — Detectives are investigating an incident in which a man threatened the use of a weapon and demanded cash at a bakery in Farmingville on Sunday morning, Suffolk police said.
A man went inside the Horseblock Road business at around 6:12 a.m., "and indicated he had a weapon while demanding cash," a police spokesperson said.
The man then bolted from the scene in a vehicle, according to the spokesperson.

The spokesperson declined to release any further information, including whether the man made off with any proceeds.
The incident has been labeled first-degree robbery in the police department's blotter.
