How do you know the teacher?

Sister

What does this person teach?

Special needs students

Why do you believe the teacher should be recognized or honored?

She stepped in to teach when no others were found even though she had never taught before and she excelled. Deena was 61 years old last year when she began teaching! How unique is that situation? The school district wanted her to remain the teacher for the next year but she declined and chose to be an IA. . It isn't easy teaching special needs children.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the teacher?

She was 61 at her first teaching experience
