Arts in Counseling

Because healing is both a science and an art, we do mental health care creatively through an accessible model of care with creative arts psychotherapists and therapeutic artists. We ensure that therapy spaces are creative and infused with arts-based interventions and that art-making spaces cultivate health and wellness. Our team are Licensed Professional Counselors, Clinical Social Workers, Creative Arts Therapists, Artists, and Integrative Health Practitioners. We treat a variety of mental health concerns. Our specialties are anxiety, panic, trauma, depression, relationship conflict, parenting, grief &amp; chronic pain. Our clientele are families, couples/triads, individuals [seniors, adults, teens, adolescents, children] and partnering organizations. We are currently an out-of-network practice. To support accessibility, we offer sliding-scale options, lower-cost groups, accept HSA, and provide superbills for potential out-of-network reimbursement. Arts in Counseling (AiC) serves the Greater Philadelphia Region for in-person mental health therapy and PA statewide for telehealth therapy. Clients do not need arts skill or experience to benefit from our services. We believe that humans are innately creative. Long before we had clinical language for emotion, trauma, or attachment, we used movement, rhythm, storytelling, image-making, and play to regulate, connect, and heal. Creativity is not an add-on to wellness—it is foundational to how humans process experience and make meaning. Traditional talk therapy alone can unintentionally privilege verbal fluency, cognitive insight, and linear narratives. Arts-based interventions widen access to healing by engaging the body, imagination, nervous system, and relational dynamics. They offer multiple pathways for expression, particularly when words are unavailable, unsafe, or insufficient. Children's Scholarship Fund Philadelphia (CSFP)

Children’s Scholarship Fund Philadelphia (CSFP) changes lives by providing scholarship funding for Philadelphia families to choose a tuition-based school that meets their student’s educational needs. CSFP is the largest and most diverse provider of K-8th scholarship support in Pennsylvania, focusing on the highest-need students in the lowest-achieving schools in the city. During the 2025-26 school year, CSFP awarded more than 6,800 scholarships for K-8th grade students enrolled at nearly 150 area tuition-based schools.
