Soergel Orchards Strawberry Festival Returning After Hiatus

WEXFORD, PA — After a lack of rain forced the postponement of last year's event, Soergel Orchards has announced the return of its Strawberry Festival. The festivities will occur June 1 from 4 p.m.-8 p.m.

Soergel announced on social media that people can pick their own strawberries in the orchard fields beginning at 4 p.m. Soergel will provide containers.

In addition to the strawberry picking, there will be desserts available on the McIntosh Hall porch, Tiny Town play and farm animals. For the over-21 crowd, visit Arrowhead Wine and Arsenal Cider will be available.

The lack of rain last year produced a poor strawberry crop and forced Soergel to cancel the festival.
