2 PA State Troopers Shot
Two Pennsylvania State Troopers were shot after responding to a call on Wednesday evening. Patch provides the details.

CHAMBERSBURG, PA — Two Pennsylvania state troopers were shot and seriously wounded and a criminal suspect was killed on Wednesday.
One trooper is in critical condition, the other is in serious condition, according to police spokesperson Megan Frazer.
Shortly after 6 p.m., state police responded to a retail theft at a Dick's Sporting Goods Store in East Guilford Township in Franklin County. The suspects were fleeing the scene.

Troopers quickly located the suspects' vehicle and began pursuing it. Spike strips were deployed and successfully stopped the vehicle along Route 81.
Two female suspects complied with police commands to surrender. A male suspect began shooting at officers, hitting the pair who were wounded. Troopers returned fire, killing the suspect.
