Woonsocket Man Dies In South Kingstown Crash
The crash happened on Congdon Drive, when the driver struck a tree.
SOUTH KINGSTOWN, RI — A Woonsocket man died in South Kingstown after his car crashed into a tree.
The crash happened around 12:45 a.m., Friday, and happened when the driver, Juan Giguerre, 22, was driving on Route 1, left the road and struck a tree on Congdon Drive.
Police said Giguerre was pronounced dead at the scene.

Giguerre was the only person in the car and wasn't wearing a seat belt, police said. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
