2 Injured In Explosion At Conroe Chemical Plant: Reports
Officials said 2 electricians suffered burns when an electrical panel they were working on exploded.

CONROE, TX β An explosion at chemical plant facility in Conroe injured two workers Thursday afternoon, officials said.
The accident happened just before 1 p.m. at a chemical plant facility , located at 10600 block of Jefferson Chemical Road.
According to investigators, two electricians suffered burns when a panel they were working on exploded. Both were taken to Memorial Herman for burn treatment.

Deputies with the Montgomery County Sheriffβs Office are currently on scene of an industrial accident at 10625 Jefferson Chemical Road in Conroe, Tx. An evacuation of the surrounding area has not been ordered; however, the facility has been evacuated as a precautionary measure pic.twitter.com/DbBr15ebd5

Officials said there were no evacuations at the plant, but residents in the area are asked to stay clear.
The incident is under investigation by the Montgomery County Fire Marshal's Office.
