4 Firefighters Injured Fighting Fire At Channelview Grain Silo
4 firefighters were overcome by the intense heat while fighting a fire at the Cargill silo in Channelview Monday morning.

CHANNELVIEW, TX β Four firefighters were treated for heat exhaustion while battling a fire at a grain silo overnight, fire officials said. The fire erupted Sunday night inside a grain silo at the Cargill facility, located in the 16100 block of Peninsula Street.
The Harris County Fire Marshalβs Office said three of the firefighters have been released, while a fourth is being treated for smoke inhalation.
Firefighters were able to fully extinguish the fire by 6:30 a.m. Monday. No one else was injured, officials said.

Fire officials remained on the scene of the blaze through Monday morning and are still trying to determine the cause of the blaze.
