ARLINGTON, VA — For every storm, there’s a rainbow, according to an old Irish blessing. In the case of the Four Courts Four Miler, race organizers are finally getting to see what’s at the end of the rainbow after two years of postponements due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Four Courts Four Miller, sponsored by Ireland’s Four Courts bar and restaurant at 2051 Wilson Blvd. in Courthouse, will take place on Saturday, March 12 at 9 a.m.
Similar to the Clarendon Day course, the Four Courts Four Miler is downhill for the first half and uphill from Rosslyn for the second half. Runners will reach the turnaround point on Route 110 about halfway between Arlington Cemetery and the Pentagon.

Pacer’s Running is operating the race, the company’s first of 2022. The company said it is noticing runners getting more comfortable with in-person running events.
“We are seeing more runners and the runners who come out seem very comfortable with racing. But we are not at pre-pandemic levels of participants yet,” Pacer’s said.
The Arlington County Police Department is closing certain roadways to accommodate the event. From about 6 a.m. to 11 a.m., Wilson Blvd. from N. Courthouse Rd. to N. Rhodes St. will be closed.
