Liberty Students Learn Thanksgiving Favorites with Sodexo Chefs
Liberty University students recently gathered for a holiday-inspired cooking class led by Sodexo Chefs

Liberty University students recently gathered for a holiday-inspired cooking class led by Sodexo’s Area Chef Sarah Falls and District Chef Barry Spence. After a successful first session of the semester, students asked to learn traditional Thanksgiving dishes they could make for Friendsgiving and family gatherings.
On October 21, the chefs guided them through creating holiday classics, including macaroni and cheese, sweet potato casserole, stuffing, apple pie, and pumpkin pie topped with pumpkin spice whipped cream.
The hands-on class provided students with the practical skills to recreate these festive dishes confidently. Chef Spence praised their enthusiasm, saying, “This may have been the most fun class yet!” He shared that the students' energy brought plenty of laughter to the kitchen and reminded him of the joy in cooking.
