Girl Scouts Of Greater Atlanta Host Second Century Luncheon
Featuring Influential Women In Business and Entertainment: Keri Hilson, Jovita Moore and Ann Cramer
The 6th Annual Second Century Luncheon will bring together the most influential corporate, social, and philanthropic leaders in the Greater Atlanta area to celebrate the generous supporters of Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta. Hosted by Coca Cola Executive Kathy Waller, the luncheon will be held on Wednesday, September 12 at 11:30 a.m. at the beautiful Druid Hills Golf Club located in the heart of Atlanta, GA.
Guests will have an opportunity to experience a special Girl Scout moderated panel featuring three women of Atlanta who are leaders in the business and entertainment industries. The panel will be moderated by 11- year old Girl Scout Cadette Temple Leigh Lester of Troop #18575 and will include: Grammy award – winning writer and singer Keri Hilson, Emmy award -winning journalist Jovita Moore, and Senior Consultant Ann Cramer.
“The Girls Scouts is about empowering girls from all backgrounds and building them into women who can influence their communities to change the world. I’m happy to help support programs that maintain these efforts as part of its’ mission” said Jovita Moore.
In addition, there will be a special joint welcome from Amy Dosik, CEO of Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta, along with Charity Joy Harrison, a Girl Scout Brownie whose cookie sales video went viral and landed her in the national news.
Support from Second Century Circle members has contributed to outreach and financial assistance to more than 10,000 at-risk girls in Greater Atlanta, training for 16,000 adult volunteers, and scholarships for Girl Scout Gold Award winners (the highest achievement in Girl Scouting).
