Jewish Business Group of Northbrook Hosts Summer Social
The event at Fields Infiniti raised more than $16,000 for Chabad of Northbrook.
Jewish Business Group of Northbrook and Fields Auto Group hosted a crowd of over 180 at a Summer Social event on July 12 at Fields Infiniti in Glencoe.
Business professionals and local supporters came together to network, socialize and raise money for two of Chabad of Northbrook's causes: the Teen Leadership Initiative and Smile on Seniors. Sharing tips on successful business habits was Dan Fields, president of Fields Auto Group, who also referred to the shared values of the two organizations. With the talented duo of Chad and Jill Coe, $16,590 was raised through the event.
The Teen Leadership Initiative (TLI) engages teens in charitable and humanitarian projects, in which they discover the joy that comes from giving. Through social events, Jewish learning, and giving to the community at large; teens build leadership skills, growing into charitable, kind teens who will be the leaders of tomorrow. Director of Jewish Business Group and organizer of the Summer Social, Rabbi Shua Greenspan said: "The teenage years can be tumultuos and confusing. But with giving, sharing, and learning, those years are transformed into years of purpose and meaning."
