I, Treba Dismuke, was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I am a recent graduate of Columbia College Chicago with a B.A. in Broadcast Journalism. I found my passion for writing at a young age.  I have written for my middle school's newsletter. In high school I wrote for GUMBO Magazine, a nationally distributed for-teens-by-teens magazine. More recently I was a reporter for Columbia College's Newsbeat,  our campus's very own  news show. My plan is to conquer the journalism field on all platforms.
