The dumpsters have been added to assist students and their families in the removal of household waste during the moving process.

Dumpsters will be marked with signage and are strictly for residential use — not for contractors or businesses.

The city says all debris should be placed inside the dumpsters and not around the dumpsters on the ground.

Additionally, recyclable items — cardboard boxes, plastic bottles, plastic bags, aluminum cans, steel soup cans, newspapers/magazines and office paper — can be recycled in the blue curbside recycling bin or the drop-off recycling trailers located around the city.

Electronics can also be recycled at the Environmental Services Facility at 3440 Reese Phifer Avenue, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.
