The ceremony recognized 592 Arkansans killed in action and highlighted Saline County veterans, offering long-overdue appreciation and a powerful lesson in remembrance for local students and families.
   

• Ouachita students earn multiple awards at Midwest Model U.N. for ninth straight year - (arkadelphian.com) — A Benton student, Carson Burks, was part of Ouachita Baptist University’s South Sudan delegation that earned a Distinguished Delegation Award and individual honors at the Midwest Model U.N. in St. Louis. Alongside classmates from across Arkansas and beyond, Burks helped secure multiple position paper awards, continuing Ouachita’s nine-year streak of top conference recognition.
