Teen Crashes E-Motorcycle, Hospitalized In Critical Condition In Marin County: Police

A 14-year-old boy crashed an electric motorcycle and was transported to the hospital with significant injuries, police said.

NOVATO, CA — A 14-year-old boy crashed an e-motorcycle into a van Tuesday in Novato, hospitalizing him in critical condition, police said.

At around 5:40 p.m. on Tuesday, Novato Police Department officers said they received a call that a 14-year-old boy riding an electric motorcycle struck a Ford transit van near Cambridge Street at Sunset Court..

He was driving south on Cambridge Street and the van was heading east from Sunset Court when the collision occurred, police said.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.

The teen boy sustained significant injuries and was transported to a local trauma center, where he remains in critical condition, police said.

Police are asking residents near Cambridge Street and Sunset Court to check their surveillance cameras to see if they have any recordings of this crash.

The NPD are also asking anyone who may have witnessed this collision to contact the Traffic Unit at the Novato Police Department at 415-897-4361, refer to Case #NP25-2685.
